When to call a CFO

Six signs your business needs a CFO

Most growing companies outgrow bookkeeping before they can justify a full-time finance director. That gap is where we work.

You are growing fast

Sales are rising, but you are not sure the profit and cash are following.

Cash feels tight

Payroll weeks are stressful and you cannot see far enough ahead.

You need finance

A bank, investor or partner wants numbers you can defend.

Reports arrive late

Accounts come weeks after month end, and nobody trusts them fully.

Margins are unclear

You cannot say which products, branches or clients really make money.

A big decision is coming

Expansion, a new branch, a major contract or a restructure.

From bookkeeping to strategy

Numbers that look forward, not back

Most finance functions stop at recording and reporting what already happened. A CFO adds planning, control and strategy, so the numbers start shaping your decisions.

What we do

Eight areas of CFO support

Take one, or the full finance leadership role. Every engagement starts from your priorities.

Financial strategy

Turn your business plan into financial targets, priorities and a funding path.

Budgeting & forecasting

An annual budget and rolling forecasts that leadership actually uses.

Cash flow & working capital

A 13-week cash forecast, collections and payment discipline, and less cash tied up.

Management reporting & KPIs

A clear monthly pack and dashboard: the few numbers that run the business.

Funding & bank readiness

Financial models, bank packs and support in lender and investor meetings.

Cost & profitability

Margin by product, branch or client, and practical cost savings.

Controls & finance systems

Approval rules, month-end close, accounting software and a stronger finance team.

Board & investor reporting

Board packs and updates that build confidence with owners and partners.

What you see every month

Clear numbers, early warnings

Three views from a typical monthly CFO pack: where the cash is going, where the profit goes, and what could happen next.

13-week cash forecast

Week-by-week cash in, cash out and closing balance, with your minimum cash buffer. Pinch points show up weeks ahead, while there is still time to act.

Cash flow

From revenue to net profit

Where every 100 of sales goes, and which costs to work on first.

Profitability

Scenario planning

Upside, base and downside cases for the next twelve months, so you can plan for each.

Forecasting

Illustrative examples. Your reports are built from your own figures and shared only with the people you choose.

Working capital

Free the cash already inside your business

The cash conversion cycle measures how long your money is tied up in stock and unpaid invoices. Every day we take out of it is cash you no longer need to borrow.

  • Faster collections and clear credit terms
  • Leaner stock levels, matched to demand
  • Supplier terms that fit your cash cycle

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about working with a CFO from LinkOra.

Ask us anything
01What is a part-time (fractional) CFO?

An experienced finance leader who works with your business for a set number of days each month. You get senior financial leadership, planning, reporting and decision support, without the cost of a full-time executive.

02How is this different from our accountant?

Your accountant records transactions, prepares the accounts and handles compliance. A CFO uses those numbers to look forward: planning, cash, pricing, funding and decisions. We work alongside your accountant, not instead of them.

03Will you work with our current software and team?

Yes. We start from the accounting system and people you already have, and only recommend changes where they clearly help.

04How do you keep our information confidential?

We sign a confidentiality agreement before we review your figures, limit access to the people working on your account, and agree how documents are shared and stored.

05Can reports be in Arabic and English?

Yes. Management packs, board reports and models can be prepared in Arabic, English or both.

06Do you advise on Shariah-compliant finance?

We can structure financing options with Islamic banks and work with qualified specialist partners where Shariah supervisory expertise is required.
